Why visit Rajasthan
Rajasthan holds the densest concentration of living forts, palaces and walled cities in India, spread across desert, lake country and the Aravalli hills. What makes it unusually rewarding to tour by road is that the distances between these places are long enough to feel like real travel, but the highways are good enough that a family can cover them comfortably.
The state also changes character sharply from one city to the next. Jaipur is an 18th-century planned grid; Jodhpur is a blue-washed old town under a cliff fort; Udaipur is lakes and hills; Jaisalmer is a fort still lived in, at the edge of the Thar desert. A well-planned week gives you all four moods.
How to choose your itinerary
Start with the number of days you actually have on the ground, not including arrival and departure travel. Then decide whether you would rather see more places or spend less time in the car — in Rajasthan you cannot maximise both. Transportation included throughout
Because we operate the transportation ourselves, the vehicle is part of the plan rather than a separate booking. A couple on a seven-day circuit is usually best in a sedan or Innova; a family of four with luggage in an Innova or Hycross; six or more travellers in a tempo traveller. - There is no single best package — it depends on how many days you have. Seven days covering Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur is the most popular balance of variety and driving time. Five days works with two long transfers; ten days adds Jaisalmer and Ranthambore without rushing.
- How many days are enough for Rajasthan?
- Five days is the practical minimum for a multi-city trip. Seven to ten days is the comfortable range. Under four days, stay within Jaipur and its nearby destinations rather than driving across the state.
- Are your Rajasthan tours private?
- Yes. Every tour we operate is private — your own vehicle, your own driver and an itinerary adjusted to your pace. We do not run shared coach departures.
- What is included in a Rajasthan tour package?
- Typically the chauffeur-driven vehicle for the full itinerary, fuel, driver allowance, tolls and state permits, and planning support. Hotels, monument entry fees, meals and guides are quoted separately or arranged on request.
- Can I customise the itinerary?

- When is the best time to visit Rajasthan?
- October to March is the comfortable season, with December and January coolest. April to June is very hot across the state. July to September brings occasional rain and unusually green landscapes.
