Chittorgarh Travel Guide
India's largest fort and the heart of Mewar history
The fort spreads over roughly 280 hectares on a plateau above the town, with palaces, towers, temples and reservoirs inside the walls. Vijay Stambh, the 15th-century victory tower, is the landmark most people recognise.
It is commonly visited as a stop on the Jaipur–Udaipur or Udaipur–Bundi drive rather than as a destination in itself.
