Rajasthan's best-known tiger reserve
Ranthambore combines dry deciduous forest with the ruins of a 10th-century fort, and it is one of the more reliable places in India to see wild tigers. Safaris run in the early morning and afternoon in canters and gypsies, on fixed zone allocations.
Because permits are limited and released in advance, tiger safaris need planning. We arrange the road transfer from Jaipur or Agra and coordinate timings with your hotel's safari desk.

Ideal duration
- One night with two safaris; two nights if wildlife is your priority.
Best time to visit
- October to April. March to April gives higher sighting chances as water sources shrink.
How to reach
- By road from Jaipur: about 160 km via Tonk, 3–3.5 hours to Sawai Madhopur.
- By road from Agra: about 330 km, 5.5–6 hours.
- By train: Sawai Madhopur is on the Delhi–Mumbai line.
